IEC Code Services

The Import Export Code (IEC) is a 10-digit identification number issued by DGFT, Government of India. It is mandatory for anyone looking to start an import/export business in India.

✔ IEC Registration

Required for individuals or businesses starting international trade. IEC is a one-time registration with lifetime validity.

✔ IEC Modification / Updation

Any changes to business name, address, contact details, or business type must be updated in the IEC portal.

✔ IEC Renewal

As per DGFT rules, all IEC holders must update their details annually between April–June, even if there are no changes. Failure to do so may result in deactivation.
